House-Museum of Henri Matisse in Nice

In Nice, on one of the hills of Cimiez, near the ancient Roman ruins in the 17th century Genoese mansion is the Matisse Museum. The building presents the artist’s work from the first work, Nature Perished in Books, to the last composition, Flowers and Fruits. In the expositions, the search for the path of the creator, his findings in working with color is traced. In a separate room are the graphic works of Matisse. Almost all of the sculptural creations of the painter are represented in the collection of this museum. Not only Matisse’s works became a decoration of the museum. The books illustrated by the artist, silk-screen printing, tapestries, ceramics, stained-glass windows, photographs, personal belongings, documents became an addition to the knowledge of the depth of thinking and the scope of imagination of a creative person. Lonschan Palace in Marseille

Lonshan Palace – an architectural hymn to fresh water in Marseille. The decoration of the complex was a ten-meter cascading fountain in front of the Chateau d’Eau Palace. This is one of the ten most beautiful fountains in the world. In the castle park at the observatory, intergalactic spaces are explored by the largest telescopes in the world. Here you can see the collection of instruments of ancient astronomers. Museums occupy two parts of the building: on one side of the palace the Museum of Fine Arts receives visitors, the other side is occupied by the Museum of Natural History. If Castle in Marseille
